A dream of mine has been to work with the UN and to contribute creatively to the plight of Syrian Refugees. I’m so thankful I not only got to work with the UNHCR but I also got to contribute to their amazing ceremony celebrating the work of countless volunteers for the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
The Nansen Refugee Award in Geneva and was a night to remember. So many phenomenal individuals doing amazing work around the world, all in one room. This piece highlights the bond and strength of refugees and volunteers. The left hand is full of images representing a refugee and the right hand highlights the love and constant work of volunteers.
What an amazing night.
