Kelsey Montague Art X GE Lighting

Sep 19, 2015

Hi Guys,
This week I had the pleasure of working with GE Lighting in San Diego. The City of San Diego is the first city to work with GE Lighting on installing its Intelligent Cities lighting solution, which will leverage technology to make the city better and more livable. These super star street lamps will have the ability to sense weather patterns, parking spots and conserve energy!

In addition to taking over GE Lighting’s Instagram, I had the good fortune of creating two interactive murals for the launch event for the Intelligent Cities program. Both have been unveiled tonight (4:30-9 pm) at the corner of 4th and Island Ave. in the Gaslamp District in San Diego. Stop by if you can!

Here are some work in progress photos of the main piece!IMG_6909

The Best of New Orleans

Sep 3, 2015

Hey Guys,

I was missing NOLA pretty bad the other day and I wanted to keep track of my favorite places in the city so I figured I’d share them with you. Here are my favorite to do’s and to eat’s in New Orleans!

Head over to Kingfish or grab a cocktail at the Hilton Garden Inn bar and head up to their awesome rooftop to enjoy it (the prices and rooms are awesome BTW).

Yummy Food
Napoleon House has awesome lunch, Balise is the new dinner hot spot in town, Sylvane is the best of the best, the Court of Two Sisters is known for their brunch and of course head to Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets!!!

Shopping Goodness.

The French Market is awesome for silly trinkets but check out the Frenchman’s Art Market for awesome artisan fare.
