Best place to find awesome food, produce and fun. 
Best Donut: Foxtrot Parlour
Best donut in New Zealand. They literally give you a syringe of chocolate creme to fill your own donut!
Best Ice-Cream Sandwich: The Dairy Coffee from Eighthirty
Best Burgers: Burger Burger
Best Inn: The Great Ponsonby Art Hotel
Awesome self-contained rooms complete with tea, biscuits and an afternoon honor bar. We felt so incredibly welcomed and happy in this super sweet Inn. We had to miss the delicious complimentary breakfast our last day so the owners made us special breakfast egg sandwiches to take with us to the airport. This is New Zealand hospitality at its finest!
Best French Food: Crepes-a-go-go
My sister lived in France for a long time and she says this is the first time she’s had a crepe that rivaled those she had in Paris. The couple that owns the restaurant are French and make SERIOUSLY good food. Get Le’Fab… it’s amazing.
Best Bar: Revelry Bar
Best Boutique Hotel in the CBD: Hotel DeBrett
When you stumble off your international flight and need to rest, this is your hotel. The beds are the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in, the continental breakfast is delicious with lots of New Zealand delicacies and they have a complimentary wine hour in the afternoon!
Overall Best Area to Hang Out In: Ponsonby
I miss New Zealand already!
