Do you ever just randomly hold the door open for someone, or give a tourist directions or take a few minutes out of your day to talk to your mom (even if you only have a few minutes to give while rushing across town to a meeting)? Something I’ve realized in my 20s is that kind acts do a hell of a lot more for your soul than any paycheck, fancy clothes or high powering friends. Coalition for the Homeless is one of those organizations I deeply believe in. In addition to being unfailingly kind, they have developed sustainable solutions to prevent homelessness and to assisting those caught in the cycle of homelessness. Check out their work here. They’re amazing.
